ACTRIS Science Conference 2026 takes place in Oslo, Norway at the Scandic Fornebu Hotel on April 20-23, 2026.
- What is the preliminary schedule of the conference?
ACTRIS Science Conference 2026 will start with an icebreaker on Monday evening April 20th and will finish on Thursday afternoon April 23rd. Please, see the preliminary general agenda here. Programme is subject to change.
- How do I reach the venue?

- Are there any recommended hotels?
We encourage conference participants to stay at the conference venue Scandic Fornebu Hotel. The hotel has set up a special rate for conference attendees. You can book your rooms here with a code BNIL200426. Note that the number of rooms available at this special rate is limited, so we encourage early booking.
- I’m not able to travel to Oslo. Is a streaming option possible?
The conference is held in a fully physical format, and, unfortunately, no streaming option will be possible.
- How do I register?
Registration for the conference is open here.
- When is the deadline for registering?
Registration deadline for presenters is 17 March 2026.
Registration final deadline is 03 April 2026.- How can I obtain an invitation letter for a visa?

- Do you offer other payment options than credit cards (i.e. invoices)?
No, we do not. You are encouraged to pay the conference registration fee with a credit/debit card.
- I will pay by credit card, but I will need an invoice with my institute's VAT number, etc, on it. How can I obtain this?
Whatever information you need on the invoice (e.g. organisation name, address, VAT number), please, include it in the Affiliation cell when filling out the registration form.
- I sent in an abstract but haven’t heard back yet. Did you review my submission?
All authors will be notified of the outcome of the review process by the end of January 2026.
- I did not buy a conference dinner ticket when registering. Is it still possible to do it and how?
