ACTRIS CiGas data QA/QC workshop 2026 for VOC and NOx data
ACTRIS CiGas data QA/QC Workshop 2026 for VOC and NOx data - held online from 28 to 30 April 2026 - brought together a broad audience, with nearly 50 participants representing different National Facilities.
During both the VOC and NOx sessions, National Facilities presented their stations, datasets, and discussed any unusual events affecting measurements, instruments, or data quality. CiGas complemented these presentations by visualizing the submitted data and highlighting potential issues where identified.
The workshop fostered lively and productive discussions, particularly on shared challenges such as data flagging practices and harmonization approaches.
In the CiGas Community Workshop, a wide range of topics was covered reflecting developments throughout 2025, including CiGas contributions to CEN WG 13 objectives, the EBAS data archive, the CiGas Box, near-real-time (NRT) data, OH reactivity, ATMo-LAB, condensables, external data QA, and an overview of the audit process.
Additionally, Agnès Borbon (NF representative for RTG in-situ) introduced the concept of CiGas working groups and several working groups were proposed and the (co-)leads for them identified.
