Aerosol In-Situ Course 2026
The ACTRIS Centre for Aerosol In-SItu (CAIS-ECAC) and ACTRIS-Czech Republic are now offering a new course on aerosol sampling, conditioning, and in-situ measurement techniques, covering the full range of ACTRIS aerosol in-situ variables.
This course is designed for individuals involved in ACTRIS aerosol in-situ measurements at National Facilities, including:
- Technicians
- Advanced Master’s students
- Doctoral candidates
- Scientists
It is also open to participants affiliated with CARGO-ACT, MI-TRAP, GAW, and other external (non-ACTRIS) communities.
Participants will gain fundamental knowledge of aerosol measurement principles as well as hands-on experience with selected aerosol instruments. The programme also includes a guided visit to the National Atmospheric Observatory Kosetice in the Czech Republic.

Location: National Atmospheric Observatory Kosetice, Czech Republic
Format: Face-to-face
Schedule: Interactive lectures from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00–17:00
Evenings: Time for leisure activities and discussions with lecturers
Certificate: All participants will receive a certificate of participation Language: English (good communication skills required)
Capacity: Due to limited accommodation in Kosetice, the course can accept only 16 participants.
