Six ACTRIS Platforms Awarded National Facility Label at the 6th General Assembly
Published: 9, December, 2025
During the General Assembly, a significant milestone was reached with the formal approval of ACTRIS National Facility labels for six platforms: ATOLL, CIAO, CO-PDD, RADO–Bucharest, Warsaw, and OPAR. Five of these Facilities, ATOLL, CIAO, CO-PDD, RADO-Bucharest and Warsaw, received the ACTRIS National Facility label for meeting the ACTRIS requirements for aerosol remote sensing. OPAR was approved for being fully compliant with ACTRIS requirements for reactive trace gases remote sensing.
This achievement demonstrates the growing maturity of the ACTRIS network and the commitment of participating countries to delivering high-quality, harmonized atmospheric observations. The newly labelled Facilities are now recognized as fully integrated contributors to ACTRIS’s mission of supporting cutting-edge research, open and FAIR data, and access to world-class measurement platforms.
