ACTRIS Data Portal: improved access to atmospheric data

The latest major release of the ACTRIS Data Portal is now available at data.actris.eu, offering access to approximately 350,000 atmospheric datasets and more than 150 variables.

The updated portal makes it easier to find, understand, and use high-quality ACTRIS data. A new Metadata API provides richer and more consistent information across the ACTRIS Data Centre units, while improved hierarchical search, dataset and facility pages, and basket functions support more precise data selection.

The release also introduces improved tools for exploring data coverage in time, space and across variables, as well as better visibility of ACTRIS National Facilities and their observations. New model products are available for ACTRIS facilities, including dust forecasts, air-mass footprints and black-carbon source contributions.

The development is a joint effort by the ACTRIS Data Centre partners, CNRS, CNR, FMI, BSC and NILU, and is supported through the ACTRIS-Norway project, funded by the Research Council of Norway.
