2027 Symposium on Atmospheric Chemistry & Physics at Mountain Sites (ACPM
The Symposium on Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics at Mountain Sites will be held at Tenerife, Spain, 13–15 April 2027.
More information can be found on the website.
Abstract submissions are now open. The submission deadline is 15 October 2026.
Submit your abstract here.
The symposium will be followed by a visit to the Izaña Atmospheric Observatory on 16 April 2027.
Scope and topics:
Any kind of scientific research on atmospheric chemistry and physics related to mountain sites is welcome. This includes all gaseous compounds such as greenhouse gases, short-lived reactive gases, intermediate and long-lived species, as well as physical and chemical properties of aerosols, physical and chemical characterization of clouds and precipitation, vertical and horizontal transport, any dynamic and meteorological processes related mountain sites, as well as health effects linked to high altitude sites. An important aspect will be the further integration of observations and modelling activities. To enable intensive discussions among the various communities, all presentations will be given as plenaries, without split into special sessions.
